FAQ

Straight answers about SafetyVibe

How it works

Enter your website's URL and SafetyVibe fetches your public pages from the outside — nothing to install, read-only, and nothing on your site is changed. In a minute or two you get a plain-language report with what to fix first, each with a suggested fix. You can also run it from your AI assistant over MCP, or from your development workflow.

What can SafetyVibe check?

SafetyVibe checks your website for common security and privacy issues, as well as things like speed, accessibility, and SEO. You can run a check by entering your website URL, using an AI assistant through MCP, or from your development workflow.

Can I use SafetyVibe with my AI assistant?

Yes. Connect SafetyVibe to your AI assistant once, then ask it to check your website. The check will not run automatically unless you set up a workflow to run scans for you. See how to connect it.

Do I need to install anything or give access to my site?

No. For a basic website check, you only need to enter the URL. SafetyVibe checks publicly available pages and does not make changes to your website. The scan may still appear in your server logs or security alerts.

Does SafetyVibe check whether a website follows privacy laws?

SafetyVibe can detect some visible cookie and tracking signals on a website. It does not manage cookie consent or tell you whether your website complies with privacy laws. The results are indicators to review, not a legal compliance check.

Does a score of 100 mean my website is completely secure?

No. A score of 100 means that the checks SafetyVibe ran did not find any issues. It does not mean that your website is completely secure — for example, a normal website scan cannot log in and check whether one user can access another user's private data. Think of the score as a snapshot of what was checked, not a guarantee of security.

Who can see my report and scan data?

Anyone who has the link to a saved report can view it. Reports do not expire automatically at the moment. If you use the hosted MCP service, SafetyVibe receives the information you send to it. Do not send sensitive credentials unless you have checked how that data is handled. See the privacy notice.
